We are improving couriers' skills and retrofitting their vans. And now we are also launching a broader action promoting safe driving.

We are launching the #BezpieczniNaDrodze campaign. Take part in it!
We are improving couriers' skills and retrofitting their vans. And now we are also launching a broader action promoting safe driving. Everyone can get involved! It is an opportunity to help people injured in road accidents.
Almost 2000 GLS Poland couriers underwent training to improve their driving techniques on professional driving tracks. They practiced, among others, optimal cornering, checked the car's behavior on a large skid plate or during braking to avoid an obstacle.
They also learnt how to drive defensively, i.e. how to react to changing road conditions related to weather, road conditions, traffic density or the behaviour of other road users. They also practiced eco-driving, which allows to reduce car operating costs without compromising transport efficiency.
Manoeuvring easier and safer
The courier trucks driving in the colors of GLS Poland belong to our transport partners. We have subsidized the installation in those vehicles of a full set facilitating parking maneuvers, especially reversing. Each such set consists of: camera, display and sensors.
In total, 1777 cameras and 1568 sensors were installed in courier vans.
Take part in the action and help
We are now launching the #BezpieczniNaDrodze action. We encourage safe driving for all drivers, not only professional drivers. Our goal is to promote good habits and safe rules of the road and help victims of road accidents. For a few weeks we will publish on our social media practical tips for drivers and encourage sharing posts with the hashtags #BezpieniNaDrodze and #GLSPoland. When we collect 1,000 such shares, we will donate PLN 10,000 to the AMBER Foundation.
Everyone can take part in the #BezpieczniNaDrodze action. How to do it?
- Go to the fanpage of GLS Poland on Facebook or Instagram.
- Share the action post on your wall with the hashtags #BezpieczniNaDrodze and #GLSPoland or add your own photo referring to driving with #BezpieczniNaDrodze and #GLSPoland on Facebook or Instagram.
- Hashtags are important because the number of posts is crucial.
- 1,000 such posts/shares means that GLS donates PLN 10,000 to the Foundation for Victims of Road Accidents.

Children planting seeds, caring for the planet but also for their own health. Thinking about our common future, we cannot imagine a better picture. GLS Poland joins the #ZdrowoRosna campaign organised by a leading seed producer in Poland.
W. Legutko shows that it is the youngest who are most powerful and can act for our common future.
As part of the #ZdrowoRosna initiative, over a period of six months, pre-schoolers and students in grades 1-3 will learn how to grow sprouts, vegetables and herbs in their home and school gardens. Thanks to the joint efforts of W. Legutko, kindergartens, schools, garden centres, nutritionists, and GLS Poland, the youngest will not only learn about gardening, but also about healthy cuisine.
We highly value thoughtful actions which aim to draw attention to ecology, plants and our planet. GLS Poland will join #ZdrowoRosna by delivering seeds from W. Legutko to garden centres and thus contribute to the beginning of the adventure with gardening in school and home gardens. We are happy that as a company that focuses on ecology on a daily basis, we can also act in this area to increase eco-consciousness – says Małgorzata Markowska, promotion & communication manager at GLS Poland.
The participants of the #ZdrowoRosna campaign will also take part in a competition - authors of the best educational films presenting home and school gardens will be rewarded with a visit of MasterChef Junior at the W. Legutko garden centre.
As part of the #ZdrowoRosna campaign GLS Poland will not only deliver seeds but will also take care to promote healthy eating habits on social media channels, in online publications and in the press. There is also a competition waiting for the fans of GLS Poland facebook profile. Details coming soon!
