Mediterranean weather episode – delivery disruptions
Heavy rainfall associated with Storm Adam is causing major flooding in the Gard, Hérault, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, Vaucluse and Ardèche départements. Several rivers are in flood, including the Vidourle and the Vistre. Delays or interruptions to parcel collection and delivery may occur in these areas.

Motorways affected

• A9 (Lyon – Spain corridor): the motorway was flooded between Nîmes and Gallargues / Aigues-Mortes and closed in both directions overnight. Traffic has resumed in the Montpellier → Nîmes direction; the Nîmes → Montpellier / Spain direction remains closed or heavily disrupted to allow the roadway to be cleared.
• A7 and A8: several areas around Marseille have been flooded. Some slip roads and interchanges have been temporarily closed.

Secondary road network
Traffic conditions are particularly difficult around Lunel, Vauvert, Saint-Laurent-d’Aigouze, Gallargues and the Petite Camargue. Many départemental roads are closed and several flood-prone bridges are closed to traffic.
