Founded in 776 B.C. to pay homage to the gods, today this world-renowned sporting event gathers around it people of different nationalities who are united by their passion for sports.

At GLS we support sports as an activity that promotes shared values such as commitment, teamwork and determination. It is in this spirit that we have prepared ourselves for the challenges we will face in the coming months to deliver your shipments in the Paris metropolitan area.

Here is our training program:

Study times and locations of the various competitions to identify the best routes in order to avoid roadblocks.

Extend the functionality of the Flex Delivery service for private customers expecting deliveries in the city of Paris, who will be able to change the destination of the shipment up to the last minute before delivery, to respond in a timely manner to any road closures or unforeseen restrictions dictated by the Paris Games.

Developing even more flexible and modular deliveries to get (almost) everywhere: promoting the use of lockers as pick-up points near the city's red zones; involvement of Tousfacteurs, a start-up acquired by GLS that is known for deliveries by bicycle; adopting double-crewed walking deliveries in the closest areas; obtaining a “Game Pass” that will allow our couriers to enter restricted areas.

And now let the games to begin!

We have made every effort to continue to provide you with quality service even under these circumstances. We would like to point out, however, that despite the arrangements we have made, deliveries within the Paris metropolitan area may still be delayed compared to standard delivery times.

In addition, we remind you that on July 26, 2024, during the Opening Ceremony of the Games, deliveries will not be possible.
