Toll for trucks
The Slovak government has launched its electronic form of tolls for all vehicles above 3,5 ton for highways and chosen speedways.
Toll is applied to nearly all trucks and trailers used for parcel transport to distribution centers and depots of GLS network. A rate based on distance depends on the road type (highway, speedway, 1st class road, 2nd or 3rd class road), number of axles and emission class.
GLS Slovakia has transferred toll fees to customers. In order to calculate truck tolls in simpler way GLS Slovakia uses its simplified and unified form.
Since 01.04.2019 the fee amounts to CZK 0,025 per each further kilogram of transported delivery. This sum is shown separately when invoiced.
