Reopening of the GLS depot in Puurs
Drogenbos, 2 December 2021 - Yesterday, the social inspectorate sealed the entrances to our depot in Puurs as part of an inspection which also took place in other companies in our sector in Belgium. Today at 5 pm, the depot has been reopened with the permission of the authorities, so that it will be fully operational again tomorrow.
GLS tests a new electric van model in Brussels
New solutions for urban logistics. Since February, GLS has been testing the Musoshi electric mini-van in the centre of Brussels. At the same time, the parcel delivery specialist is testing the integration of electric vehicles throughout Europe in order to reduce its environmental impact and emissions.
New city delivery depot in Wijnegem
Last week, GLS Belgium opened a new delivery depot in Wijnegem. Located in the suburbs of Antwerp, this new GLS site will handle deliveries to Antwerp and the northern and eastern parts of its periphery.
