At GLS Belgium, sustainability is a priority. We are actively committed to reducing our ecological footprint through the ambitious "Climate Protect" program.
To better reflect the actual costs and support this transition towards sustainable resources, we will introduce an energy surcharge starting from January 1, 2024. This will replace the former diesel surcharge and Energy floater.
The surcharge calculation will be based on 3 components:
• Diesel with 87%
• Electricity with 11%
• Gas with 2%
As our fleet becomes more electrified, these percentages will be adjusted.
