Delivery directly to your door

In 2022, according to Dansk Erhverv, home delivery was the preferred delivery method for 40% of consumers. You have several options for home delivery, so your customer can still enjoy your parcel even if they're not at home.

Your parcels for home delivery can weigh a maximum of 30 kg and must stay within our minimum and maximum parcel dimensions, which you can find here.

Delivery with receipt

If you want a delivery receipt, your customer must be at home to receive the parcel when the driver rings the doorbell. If the customer is not at home, the driver will take the parcel to the nearest ParcelShop.

Delivery without a receipt

When you want to make sure your customer receives your parcel even if they are not at home, you can send a delivery without a receipt. We will leave the parcel at a location of your choice at your risk.

Delivery on power of attorney

If your recipient has ordered a proxy sign from GLS, we will leave the parcel at the requested location at their responsibility. Many of our recipients already have a proxy sign at their address.

How home delivery works

Your customer makes a purchase on your online shop and selects home delivery in your checkout flow. Here, your customer can choose delivery without a receipt.

Your local GLS driver collects the parcel from your warehouse and takes it to your nearest GLS depot where it is sorted.

The GLS driver will ring your customer's doorbell and deliver the parcel directly, unless you have requested a delivery without a receipt or the customer has authorization.

Your customers can easily return your goods to you via one of our 1,700 ParcelShops across Denmark. With our simple QR return solution, you can avoid enclosing a printed return label in the package. This way, your customers don't have to print a return label either.
