How ParcelShop delivery works

Your customer makes a purchase on your webshop and selects delivery to a GLS ParcelShop in your checkout flow. Here your customer can choose from our 1,750 ParcelShops based on their location.

We let the ParcelShop know how many parcels are on their way so they can make room for new parcels for fast delivery.

Your customer receives an SMS, email and notification in the GLS app when the parcel is ready for collection. This is always the same day the parcel arrives at the ParcelShop.

The recipient of the parcel collects it from the selected ParcelShop by providing the last 4 digits of their parcel number and the name of the recipient.

If your customer cancels their purchase and fails to pick up the parcel, it will be registered as a return parcel in our system after 7 calendar days. The GLS driver will then take it back and deliver it to you.

Your customers can easily return your products to you via one of our 1,700 ParcelShops across Denmark. With our simple QR return solution, you can avoid including a printed return label in the parcel. This way, your customers don't have to print a return label either.
