How can I pick up my shipments at a GLS Point?
You can do it in 2 ways:
- During checkout, select the GLS Point delivery option if available.
- After shipping, track your parcel using your tracking number and postal code. If the option is enabled, choose "Pick up at a convenience point" and select the GLS Point that works best for you.
Please note: This option will only be visible if the service is available for your shipment.
How will I know when my shipment is ready for pickup at a GLS Point?
We’ll notify you as soon as your parcel is available for pickup at a GLS Point:
- You’ll receive an email at the address used to register the shipment, including the GLS Point’s address and its opening hours.
- If you have the MyGLS app with notifications enabled, you'll also receive a mobile alert. Make sure your phone number is registered and the shipment is linked to it.
- You can also check the status of your shipment and all GLS Point details on our website or through the My GLS app.
Can I choose any GLS Point to pick up my shipment?
You can collect your parcel from any available GLS Point. However, you can only select locations within the same postal code as the original delivery address.
If you’d like to pick up your parcel at a GLS Point in a different postal code, you’ll need to contact your sender or online shop to authorize the change. We can only deliver it to a new location if we receive confirmation from them.
How many days do I have to pick up my parcel?
You have 7 calendar days to pick up your parcel at the selected GLS Point. If you don’t collect it within that time, it will be automatically returned to the sender.
Don’t forget to bring your ID to collect your parcel.
Can someone else pick up my parcel for me?
Yes, anyone you authorize can collect your parcel. You just need to provide a written authorization stating your consent, and the person picking it up must present it at the time of collection.
I want to send a parcel — how can I do it at a GLS Point?
Super easy! You have two options:
- Book online and drop off at a GLS Point: Go to our website and select the "I’ll drop it off at a Parcel Shop" option. Once you’ve completed the booking, you’ll receive an email with instructions and a QR code. Just take your parcel to any available GLS Point — no need to print a label!
Book online
- Book directly at a GLS Point: Use the GLS Point locator on our website and filter by the "Send" option. You’ll see which locations allow in-person shipping. Choose the one that suits you best, bring your parcel, and book it right there. It’s that simple!
