GLS sweepstakes

The following conditions apply to participation in the sweepstakes organized by General Logistics Systems Germany GmbH & Co. OHG, GLS-Germany-Straße 1 - 7, 36286 Neuenstein (hereinafter referred to as GLS Germany):

Eligibility:

By participating, each participant accepts these conditions of participation. Only natural persons over the age of 18 who are resident in Germany are eligible to participate and win. By participating, each participant agrees that his/her profile name may be used by GLS Germany to determine the winners of the competition in compliance with the statutory data protection provisions. By participating, the participant warrants that all information provided by him/her is true and correct. Furthermore, the participant agrees that he/she may be contacted by GLS Germany via Facebook or Instagram for the purpose of notifying the winner if he/she has been determined as the winner. In this case and for the delivery of the prize, his address may also be stored and used. The stored data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the end of the sweepstakes.

Participation by:

To participate in the sweepstakes, participants must comment, hashtag, like, heart or share the post under the sweepstakes post on the official GLS Facebook or Instagram page. For exact conditions of participation, please refer to the current sweepstakes post.

The prize/period of the sweepstakes:

Please see our current sweepstakes post for details on the prizes and the entry deadline. The prizes cannot be paid out in cash or exchanged. If the winner(s) do not respond within one week, the claim to the prize will be forfeited. After the end of the sweepstakes, the winners will be drawn in a timely manner.

Determination of winners and notification of winners:

After the expiration of the designated sweepstakes period, the winners will be drawn at random from all participants by the GLS Social Media Team. Winners will then be notified of their win by GLS Germany via comment or private message. Thereafter, the winners will contact GLS Germany via private message (with name and delivery address) for the purpose of address determination. If one or more winners do not get back to us with their address within one week, they will forfeit their claim to the prize. For data protection reasons, we ask participants not to leave addresses on the pinboard or as a public comment. The prize packages will be delivered by GLS Germany to the delivery address in Germany provided by the winner within two weeks of receiving the winner's delivery address.

Exclusion from the competition:

GLS Germany has the right to exclude participants from participating in the sweepstakes who manipulate or attempt to manipulate the entry process, the sweepstakes and/or the offer, who culpably violate entry rules or GLS netiquette, or otherwise attempt to influence the sweepstakes and/or the entry process in an unfair manner. In this case, the corresponding Facebook or Instagram postings may be deleted. In such cases, GLS Germany is also entitled to subsequently disallow and reclaim any prizes that have already been handed out.

Reservation of right to change:

GLS Germany reserves the right to cancel a competition at any time for good cause and without prior notice. This applies in particular in the event of force majeure and if the competition cannot be carried out or continued for other organizational, technical or legal reasons or if manipulations become apparent. Furthermore, GLS Germany reserves the right to change these conditions of participation at any time.

Legal notice / disclaimer:

The legal process is excluded. GLS Germany is not responsible for events beyond its control. In particular, but not exclusively, this applies in principle to unlawful participant entries, misdirection of participant messages, and unavailability of the website, technical problems affecting the continuation of the Sweepstakes, Internet malfunctions hindering the progress of the Sweepstakes, failures of the participant PC ́s, databases or software, all problems of communication networks, servers or Internet providers, loss of data during transmission, delay in delivery, consequences of a virus or anomaly. The GLS Germany Sweepstakes is not affiliated with Facebook and Instagram and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organized by Facebook or Instagram. Facebook and Instagram are not available as contact persons for the sweepstakes, but merely serve as a platform for organizing the sweepstakes and the data exchange and data processing required for this purpose.

There is a right to information on the part of the responsible party about the personal data concerned according to Art. 15 DSGVO as well as to correction of incorrect data (Art. 16 DSGVO) or to deletion, provided that one of the reasons stated in Art. 17 DSGVO applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued. There is also the right to restriction of processing if one of the conditions set out in Art. 18 DSGVO applies and, in the cases of Art. 20 DSGVO, the right to data portability.

Right of appeal to a supervisory authority:
If you are of the opinion that the processing of personal data concerning you violates data protection regulations, please inform us of your concerns. In such cases, however, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 DSGVO in conjunction with Section 19 BDSG).

Necessity of collection:
The collection of personal data is necessary for participation in the sweepstakes. Without collecting the necessary personal data, you will not be able to participate in the sweepstakes.

Respectful and responsible interaction in our community is very important to us. Therefore, please always remain polite and fair to each other. We will review comments and reserve the right to delete offensive and irrelevant content.

Also SCREAMING, persistent bold font as well as several punctuation marks!!! one after the other are not allowed!
