Dear customers

In the UK, the CWU trade union has decided on work stoppages for Royal Mail employees for the following days:
Wed, 30.11.2022 + Thu, 01.12.2022 + Fri, 09.12.2022 + Sun, 11.12.2022

These strikes will affect the delivery of parcels via our UK partner Parcelforce - a subsidiary of Royal Mail. We have been making preparations over the past few weeks and are doing our best to minimise the effects for you and your customers.

Information about shipment to Ukraine, Russia and Belarus

Due to the military conflicts, parcel shipment to Ukraine, Russia and Belarus is not possible for the time being. We will inform as soon as there is new information on this.

Christmas shipping in the GLS ParcelShops

To ensure that Christmas presents reach their recipients on time, these deadlines apply for the latest drop-off of parcels at one of our 7,000 GLS ParcelShops:
- Shipments within Germany: by 12 noon on Wednesday, 21 December
- Shipments to neighbouring EU countries: by Tuesday, 20 December
- Shipments to other EU countries: until Monday, 19 December

Deliveries within the European Community are generally exempt from VAT. We provide you as the the consignor with the so-called GLS Track & Trace log, so that you can prove the VAT-exempt intra-community delivery.
